Reduced cost MB Quart Marine NAU660 180-Watt A/B-Class 6-Channel Amplifier review
MB Quart's Nautic line of amplifiers use extreme speed processors, resulting in overall low distortion, for stable, reliable, and audible sound performance while conforming to marine electrical standards. The NAU660 delivers 1200 watts maximum power, and can be set up for 6/5/4/3-channel applications.
Class A/B MOSFET Amplification
The NAU660 boasts Micro Class A/B amplifier topology for lower distortion, complete with a PWM power supply for solid power regulation, and high speed MOSFET output devices for excellent sound reproduction.
Gold-Plated Connections
The NAU660 features gold-plated power, ground, speaker and RCA connections, for resisting corrosion and delivering a clean signal.
High- and Low-Pass Filters
Dial in the output as appropriate for your system with adjustable hi-pass and lo-pass crossovers, both from 40-250Hz.
Ready for the Marine Environment
Marine gear has an even tougher environment than its automaobile counterpart. To that end, the NAU660's heat sink enclosure, paint, and silk screening are UV and salt water resistant. Marine-grade conformal coated circuit boards are used to resist corrosion from salt spray and moisture. Finally, a non-corrosive brushed aluminum extrusion provides an attractive and durable surface finish.
ABYC Compliant
The American Boat and Yacht Council (ABYC) is a trade organization who set forth voluntary standards for all aspects of boat design and construction. The NAU660 is designed to conform to the group's marine electronic standards.
Daisy-Chain Ready
For multiple amplifier applications, the amps also feature Line Outputs so daisy-chaining additional amps without the need for Y-cable adapters can be easily executed.
